The Park Hotel Dungarvan

We had a really lovely stay here after arriving tired and hungry off the Greenway from Waterford! Nice little things like welcome pack for the kids and cookies before bed. Restaurant food was delicious and staff very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a family room with 2 adults and 3 children. There were 2 large double beds, with 1 single bed added into the room, but it didn't feel squashed in any way. The location is excellent - you can easily walk into Dungarvan itself in less than 10 minutes - there is a Lidl 7 minutes walk away, and a Dunnes only a minute or so further. There are two playgrounds within less than 10 mins walk as well. The cinema is a similar distance away. You can obviously drive to all these locations as well! The swimming pool has 2 lanes set aside for swimming lengths (pool seemed to be about 20m). Note the deep end is 1.8m, but it is roped off where the pool depth starts to increase, so it is easy to keep less competent swimmers in the shallow section. There is a whirlpool part of the pool and a baby pool, as well as a sauna and steam room. Breakfast is really good - a choice of a range of hot breakfast items, but you order those and they are brought directly to your table, so always hot and fresh. Cereal, fruit, yoghurt, juice, pastries all available - as well as a pancake maker so the pancakes are hot and fresh too. Great for families - lots of small touches that really add up. Gift bags for the kids when they arrive with some treats inside; cookies and milk available for free in the evenings (although the time varied a lot on when these were available, which led to some impatient kids pacing the lobby!); a kids film shown every evening in one of the function rooms, which diluted orange and popcorn available free at the back of the room. Bikes can be hired from the back of the car-park of the hotel to go onto the Greenway, and we found the service was excellent there. The Greenway is a very accessible cycle and the scenery is stunning. It's also an easy drive or cycle to the beach, so all in all, we would highly recommend the Park Hotel for a family stay.

We had our wedding at The Park Hotel, Dungarvan in July 2025 and had such a brilliant experience from start to finish. The hotel has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere and the staff went out of their way to make the day run smoothly. The food was a major highlight—our guests are still talking about how amazing the beef, Turkey& Ham and seabass were. Thank you to Declan and his team who went above and beyond to make sure the food and service were outstanding. If you're looking for a top class , quality hotel for your wedding I wouldn't look further than the Park Hotel.

Very welcoming staff , lovely room , delicious breakfast and super friendly waiting staff. Stayed for one night, will definitely return

I attended a family wedding over a weekend at the hotel and found the accommodation staff and facilities to be first rate friendly help full staff nice surroundings and atmosphere within the hotel itself, and excellent food and staff service, it also had great little courtyards and verandas for some quite time if you felt you needed a little time out, i would highly recommend the park hotel dungarvan

Stayed 7 nights in the holiday home 3 bed. Lovely welcome pack essentials in the house for 1st evening. Housekeeping staff called every morning to check everything was OK. Check out 12pm is great on departure. Loved the pool. Kids activities each day during the week. Had bar food and breakfast. Everybody so accommodating and helpful from check in and check out.
